“Why Travel?” Blogs

Why Travel?
Why Travel?

About a month ago, I asked Lets Go Sago! readers a poignant question: “Why Travel?” I made it the question of interest in the site’s second anniversary contest (part 2).

It’s not always easy to participate in a blog writing contest specially if the criteria is based on content and quality. Nonetheless, the results exceeded my expectations.

I would like to thank all who participated in this blog writing contest and made this a success. This post is a tribute to you guys. I am posting all the participants’ links and got thumbnail images from your sites. They were all good and inspiring to read; heartwarming to say the least.

Interestingly, almost all had entitled their posts “Why Travel,” even if it was not a requirement. 🙂

I decided to compile them and share it with the rest of the readers of Let’s Go Sago! for them to enjoy. I also quoted some highlights from each of your stories (in order of submission).

Travel, as a noun…means the act of going from one place to another…as a verb…, means [to] undertake a journey or trip…for pleasure. I have experienced “Travel” as a noun but never as a verb.

Masarap kasi…Travelling is pretty much like shopping. Therapeautic.  Relaxing. Addicting…..[posting your travel photos on FB] is also a sweet way of saying to your ex “See, I moved on.”
