SM Mall of Asia Arena made a big news with their first major concert led by International celebrity Lady Gaga last month. This was immediately followed by other international stars including the New Kids on the Block and Back Street Boys about a week ago.

I myself have visited the MOA Arena twice. First with the press conference of the ICONS concert for the Mall of Asia Arena Grand Launch scheduled for June 16, 2012, and the next at the Edwin McCainTaylor Dayne concert.

Mall of Asia Arena has a gross floor area of 64,085 sqm with 6 levels among which are 5 levels of full-house seating capacity of 20,000 (bigger than Smart Araneta Coliseum’s 15,000). It also has almost 2,000-capacity car park building across the venue in SM Mall of Asia Complex

For those who haven’t been inside, here is a peek into some parts of the 16,000-seater venue:

Aside from concerts, it can be a venue for sports such as basketball, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, boxing, ice shows, circus, theater / musical, corporate shows, and fashion Shows. They also have VIP-Level facilities.

International artists set to perform this year include The Fray (June 21), Nicki Minaj ‘Pink Friday Tour’ (July 11), and Jennifer Lopez (November 24, 2012).
