Yehey! Two days from now, Sago and I are off to Bali in Indonesia! But first, we’ll be passing by Malaysia for a connecting flight to Bali. These has been planned since four months ago when together with some friends, we impulsively bought promo tickets from Cebu Pacific last February 2009.
We are excited since this is Sago’s second trip outside of his motherland, the Philippines. The first was last year in a three-day trip to Singapore.
This will also be Travel Factor’s first international tour. Travel Factor is Sago’s partner lifestyle travel agency in most of his traveling gigs.
I’m just glad that Indonesia still has no positive case of A(H1N1) virus infected person in their country.
The current worldwide health pandemic is a let down to traveling but we can overcome this with proper education, protection, and caution. I have my N95 masks prepared. 🙂
We leave terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on the night of the 16th and expect to land in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) the next day. We’ll then be taking a 3-hour flight via AirAsia from Kuala Lumpur to Bali. From here, we’ll spend the next 5 days touring the island of Bali and of course, surfing.

Surfing in Bali is something that cannot be missed. It’ll also be our first time to surf outside of the Philippines as we have only been surfing in La Union. Stay tuned for Sago’s blogs about this Bali–Indonesia trip this month of July! It’ll be full of take-home pictures, videos and experiences!

bow down to this sago!
