100 West Makati Marks 1st Concrete Pouring, Construction in Full Swing
Not having to travel far to go home from work is the core concept behind the construction of 100 West Makati, a mixed-use residential condominium project by Filinvest Land, one of the country’s top real property developers.
Soon to rise in the middle of west Makati as a strategically-located all-in-one hub, 100 West Makati condominium will house business, residential, and retail shops at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia) and Washington street.

Last month, Blogger Manila was invited to witness its First Concrete Pouring ceremony as part of it’s full-swing construction while excavation and dewatering works were ongoing.
The program started with a reverent prayer and blessing by a priest while executives of Filinvest Land, 100 West, and officers of the architectural and construction group led the ceremonial 1st concrete pouring. After a brief speech, a sparkling champaign toast concluded the brief ordeal.
We then went back to the nearby 100West showroom where we got to have a brief tour visiting the 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units of 100 West Makati.

The average price form an average condo unit is at 4M (4 million) for the 1 bedroom unit to 7M ( 7 million) for the 2-bedroom units. All units have their own balconies,
With the single bedroom (27-34 sqm) and 2-bedroom units ranging from 43 sqm. to 58 sqm, Filinvest chose a European-inspired and minimalist Scandinavian furniture design to practically maximise condominium space.

Traffic and Flooding Issues Addressed
Needless to say, as a central business district, Makati is viewed by many as an already-crowded city with landmark buildings, malls, condominiums, and residences.
However, Filinvest Land saw something beyond what we have today. A peek into the near future reveals the development of a nearby Makati Avenue underpass and a metro-subway system (Market Market to Macapagal road) that passes through the corner of Gil Puyat and Makati Avenue in about 4 years; just in time for the target turn-over of 100 West at the 4th quarter of 2018.
Furthermore, in a personal interview, we inquired about the flooding issue of the area and the executives of Filinvest expressed that they are working with the local government to finally resolve the issue since the area will appreciate in a few years.
They added that 100 West Makati will make the rainy season and flooding “irrelevant” as your new home will just be a few blocks away from both Ayala Avenue and across Gil Puyat avenue (formerly Buendia).
