I was bitten by the travel bug quite late, actually. I was already 28 when my eyes were opened to the beauty of the Philippines in my first trip outside Luzon – a ferry ride to Coron, Palawan in 2006.
It’s October once again, and for beer enthusiasts, that only means the season of Oktoberfest! Last year’s Oktoberfest in Sofitel Manila was attended by about 4,000 merrymakers who consumed 31,200 traditional liter mugs of cold beers, 1,000 kg of German sausages, 250 kg of pork knuckles, and 200 kg of Sauerkraut. All that within the span of two days!
