Get Outside and Travel More
I was bitten by the travel bug quite late, actually. I was already 28 when my eyes were opened to the beauty of the Philippines in my first trip outside Luzon – a ferry ride to Coron, Palawan in 2006.

Ever since, I traveled around the Philippines with some of my friends until I opened up a travel blog with my own domain in 2008 – Let’s Go Sago. It was also in the same year where I had my first international trip; and solo at that.
I went surfing in La Union, wakeboarding in Camarines Sur, climbed Mt. Pinatubo, zip-lined in Davao, road tripped across Ilocos to Pagudpod, and jumped off a 40ft bridge in the Visayas, among others.
I guess the few things left I wasn’t able to do is bungee jump and skydiving. Now at 36, I still want to do more (although I’m not too keen on Bungee Jumping anymore). 🙂
R.O.X. Says “Get Outside“
R.O.X. recently asked travel enthusiasts “What will you get outside for?”
They wanted to promote the outdoors through its “Get Outside” campaign and the What Will You Get Outside For app. Through the Facebook application, R.O.X. will give you a chance to turn your dreams of adventure into a reality by logging on to www.facebook.com/roxphilippines.
Just click on the app and answer the question “What Will You Get Outside For?”

R.O.X. will be choosing 3 grand winners to experience the different outdoor activities like camping/glamping, trekking, surfing, rapeling and others while 10 runners-up will have one adventure activity granted by R.O.X. Submission of entry is until November 8, 2014.
For more information about the Get Outside campaign check out any R.O.X. branches.
Visit R.O.X. in Bonifacio High Street, Marquee Mall Pampanga, Camp John Hay Baguio, Ayala Center Cebu, Ayala Centrio Mall Cagayan De Oro and the District North Point Bacolod. Afterall, R.O.X. is the only stores that lets you in so you can get outside!

What will you get outside for?

Life’s too short to spend it within the safe confines of a room. But no one’s asking you to climb a mountain either or go white river rafting blindfolded either. For R.O.X., all it takes to switch up your perspective is to take the first step and get outside. Who knows? You just might experience an adventure of a lifetime you never deemed possible.
As for Let’s Go Sago, it’s the burning passion to see the beauty of the world and live the adventures it can offer, is what gets us outside! What will you get outside for?
