‘Akyat Pinatubo’ Bloggers’ Climb for a Cause

Akyat Pinatubo
Akyat Pinatubo

It has been 2 years now since I went to Mt. Pinatubo. Aside from the awesome site and experience of trekking, I heard some areas surrounding the crater-lake has now been landscaped.

Just before the summer is officially over, I want to see Mt. Pinatubo once again. And on May 28 June 04, 2011, we’re bringing a busload of bloggers with us and at the same time assisting event beneficiary Tahanang Walang Hagdanan.

After the successful “Let’s Go Surfing” bloggers’ surfing camp in La Union two years ago (which was able to raise P15,000 for WWF-Philippines), we are holding again a similar travel-themed activity for bloggers. This time the destination is the aforementioned majestic crater-lake of Mt. Pinatubo plus some trekking and a 4×4 jeepney ride.

  2. Good question Krystle,

We will adopt the usual blog recognition at 3 months old from today. This means we will accept blogs created on or before Feb 10, 2011.

Thank you for your understanding. As per ‘guest participant,’ it is open to all.

  3. @Jenn,

Yes, got your paypal payment too. Congrats, you’re the first!

You will receive the Havaianas Flip-flops at the pre-event briefing on May 20, 2011.

  4. Will join this Sir Sago. Kaso mamaya pa ako makakapag-register, blocked ang google docs dito sa office 😀

BTW, ok lang po ba kung hindi na ako makakasama sa Capas Shrine? I will be staying kasi at Zambales after this Trek for another event on the next day (Sunday).

    Thanks,

    Alfredo A. Vedarozaga

  5. Hi Jonel,

If you guarantee that there’s no mountain climbing and it’s just plain walking, then I think I can join this one! =)

  6. @lariza – thanks!

@Pedo – sure, we’ll have one extra seat going back to Manila.

@Foydi – it’s 80% trekking, but there’s still 20% some mountain climbing (this is just my non-expert rough estimate).
