Weekend Davao Itinerary

It’s awesome to be going back to Davao this weekend! And I’m riding Airphil Express for the first time as well.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of going to Davao, it’s really my local destination of choice in terms travel mixed with adventure. It has one of the most varied number of spots and different things to do in the city: from beaches to caves, from mysteries to horse back riding. From ziplines to zorbs, and from crocodiles to eagles, and more.

I’m also excited for the trip to TribuK Mindanawon; I haven’t been there. It would also be my first to try water rafting in Davao. I haven’t tried Tita Annies and Garden Grill restaurants either.

If there’s something to be sad about this trip, it’s missing the first day of the Philippine Fashion Week! (LOL) Seriously now, it’s missing Samal Island (an island P15 boat-ride away from Davao City). I’ve been only there twice visiting Paradise Resort, Maxima Aquafun, an old house, and the ultra creepy but awesome bat caves. Samal Island has more to offer and I hope to be there again.

Anyhow, there’s always a next time. I hope this Davao itinerary for a short Davao weekend getaway was of help for those of you planning to go there and doesn’t have the slightest idea what to do. 🙂 Davao (via Airphil Express), here we come!
