Wakeboarding at CWC, CamSur

A blog about wake boarding in CWC (Camsur) is not actually scheduled to be released anytime soon here in LetsGoSago.net. However, two of my blogger friends Sire and Iris just recently came back from Pili, Camarines Sur of the Bicol Region for an advocacy event called Tour of Hope 2009.

Hence, as a welcome-back-greeting for them, I dedicate this short post and some familiar images for them. 🙂 Also, here are some of their captures.
I had my first wake boarding and knee boarding experience a little more than a year ago last April 7. It was the final stop in a series of trips after visiting different spots in Bicol including the Caramoan Peninsula.
Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) is the place to be when you talk about cable wakeboarding in the Philippines. In fact, it is already famous worldwide prompting numerous international cable wake boarding competitions to be held here as well. A recently held international competition includes the 2009 World’s Ultimate Wake Championships.
Allow me to talk about CWC and cable wake boarding in more detail at a future post. In closing, let me leave you guys with a few pictures around the complex for a tease.

Lastly, my big thanks goes out to my friend and photographer extraordinaire Cedric Valera for capturing my cable wake boarding shot at Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) before falling face-flat on the water. 🙂
