The Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino in Manila recently held a simple but heartwarming Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony for the first time!
The casual but meaningful and relevant launch showcased the Christmas lighting ceremonies with 3 Christmas trees at the center of the hotel’s lobby. It also featured a special ˜wishing well” dedicated to the victims and survivors of the super Typhoon Yolanda.
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony started with holiday music as serenaded by the Ramon Magsaysay Chorale’s angelic hymns as part of the welcoming tradition during yuletide season in WPHC for 10 years now.
The “wishing well” is placed in the lobby for employees and guests who wants to help by dropping their donations until January 5, 2014. The iconic hotel in Manila have partnered with TV5′s corporate social responsibility arm Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. (AKFI), to whom the donations would be turned-over.
Theresa Fernandez,Marketing Director of Waterfront Hotels and Casinos Corporate Sales mentioned that they “‘wish the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila to become another annual tradition. Apart from that, we aim at making this activity more meaningful by bringing the community together and encourage them to help our people in Eastern Visayas through a donation drive.”
