Spott3d: Burnham Park, Baguio City

Burnham Park is one of the most famous and visited park in Baguio City, the Philippines’ summer capital surrounded by mountains and a cool climate. Having a picnic, a cool stroll around the park and horse-back riding are just some the activities one could do in Burnham Park. Flowers are especially in full bloom during the month of February when the Panagbenga, the celebrated Baguio Flower Festival, is held.
Located at the center of the park is the man-made lake called Blue Lagoon (photo inset). The calm waters make it ideal for boat rides with the family. A visitor would not have a problem getting a ride with the number of available boats and designs.

I’m currently living in a small town in Northern Cebu, I love it here in the town formerly known as Bogo City but I must say, Baguio looks like a really nice place. I hope to visit there before long. And maybe even move there. The problem with moving there is that the temperatures or so nice, I’m afraid I’ll never come out of the mountains to see the rest of the country.
