Organized by Electrolux Philippines and set in Eastwood City, Let’s Go Sago and three other adventurous bloggers formed a team called Team Jacob.
Wait, let me explain.
We named it such because all four of our names start with the letter “J.”
Cheers to my team mates Jeff Aspacio, Jeffrey Siy, and Jayson Biadog.

Registration Form
It was a fun-filled, action-packed afternoon for customers and trading partners as they continued their Wash-a-Palooza campaign that celebrates Electrolux front load washer and dryer lines through exciting promos, surprises, and activities.

Amazing Race Registration
With 20 teams of four, we raced around Eastwood City completing over a variety of challenges, which required a combination of brains and brawn.
We started with the “Untangle” and balloon activity followed by a puzzle problem wearing a four-holed shirt.

Mystery Challenge Clues

Challenge 1 & 3 (Puzzles)
It’s good that one of our team mate Jeff Aspacio know how to operate a washing machine because we encountered one challenge where after shooting the white shirts in a washing machine with inverted binoculars, we are to simulate a washing machine operation on the clothes.

Shoot that White Shirt & Washing Machine

We also got lost for a while and consulted a mall map
Other activities included searching for stores around Eastwood Mall with clues, crossing ziplines and answering trivia questions about Electrolux’s products and an exciting sprint and flag searching to the finish line.

I also did a zip line cross (but this is not me) :)
With enough speed and determination, we were able to finish the race first within one hour and 34 minutes. We got gift certificates worth P15,000 and some Electrolux appliances.

Electrolux Wash-a-Palooza Winners / Champions

Inquirer Media Team - 2nd Place
Good friends from media team Inquirer followed in second place with a time-in of one houre and 38 minutes.
A concert party was also held with hits from popular Filipino band True Faith. Check out complete article from Electrolux and more photos from HERE.

Electrolux Amazing Race Medal
Needless to say, the next two days were filled with much-welcomed muscle pains and aches.
Thank you very much to Electrolux for organizing this fun-filled Electrolux Wah-a-Palooza amazing-race-type event.

Yeah, we were all in the Electrolux Wash-a-Palooza shirt but only two hands and arms (corner guys) can hold the puzzles.
