Who doesn’t like theme parks? It’s always an awesome experience spending an afternoon in a theme park like Enchanted Kingdom!
Rides, Carousel, magicians, balloons, Ferris wheel, hotdog on stick, ice cream – these are some description from a child when asked what comes to his mind about theme parks. Just like this little boy, I also had the same description, the same expectations. It never disappoints me even if it’s only my 2nd visit at Enchanted Kingdom.

Enchanted Kingdom, the country’s premiere and the biggest theme park located at Sta Rosa Laguna recently held its Media Appreciation Day as a way of showing their gratitude to all members of the media who have been part of EK’s all-year celebration and topped in the heart of Eldar, the Wizard.
The event started with a song and a dance performance from EK cast held at the Boardwalk Party Place. I enjoyed a scrumptious treat from Amazon Grill Restaurant and even noticed our refreshingly cold and sweet drink, the Eldar’s Puple Brew. =)

We started our park tour at the colorful Midway Boarwalk Zone where the Wheel of Fate is located. We decided not to take a ride and just spent most of our time experiencing the park and taking photos.
Other attractions seen at the Midway Boardwalk are Anchor’s Away, Roller Skater, Dodgem, Bump and Splash, Ekstreme Tower Ride and Up Up and Away.
If you’re adventurous enough, you can try the Space Shuttle Max but I don’t think I’m ready for that. This attraction is the country’s first and only triple loop coaster turns riders upside down six times – 3 times forward and 3 times backwards.

I stood in awe as I watched it go up and down. It made my heart beat faster, it’s nerve-rocking. Don’t try this if you’re not used to fast moving rides that goes up and down.
The next attraction is definitely one of my favorite though I have to tell you that I almost quit the first time I’m about to try. But when it started to move slowly, the fear just went away and I found myself enjoying the ride. Yay, I just love the Flying Fiesta!

It suddenly remembered me as well of our blogger frined’s Enchanted Kingdom EK Biki Waterworld experience with the summer months coming soon.
The Flying Fiesta is located at the Brooklyn Zone
It was a rainy Saturday afternoon at Enchanted Kingdom yet everyone was excited and enjoying the rides and patiently waiting from the long queues.
No wonder because it was a weekend and a holiday season at that. Adding to number of visitors were students from different schools for their annual educational tours.
