Sofitel Manila: Five Star Hotel in Manila Launches Website & Tour of the Imperial Suites
I got to visit Sofitel Philippine Plaza again, a five star luxury hotel in Manila, some weeks ago. It was upon an invitation for their official website launch where we also got to tour the Imperial Suites, among others.
Bonjour Mabuhay! The program begun with a sumptuous lunch followed by a brief presentation from Blessy Townes, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s E-Commerce Manager. They formally launched their new and more interactive official website – www.sofitelmanila.com.
The new website allowed access to complete and updated information on current hotel products and services where one can conveniently book rooms and restaurant reservations, among others.
Of particular interest is Sofitel Philippine Plaza’s current emphasis and focus on their social media efforts including Facebook (Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila), Twitter (SofitelManila) and YouTube (Sofitel Manila Hotel). It also featured a state-of-the art virtual tours where guests may virtually walk-through the hotel and its facilities as if they’re there. 🙂
It seems that they are not letting themselves be left behind technologically and in the social media sphere.
The Imperial Suite Tour
We toured the hotel for about an hour but the highlight and the finale was the best – the Imperial Residences.
With the hotel having 609 Luxurious rooms and an exquisite array of suites, the Imperial Residences is touted to be the best. The sheer price alone would have already jacked-up our expectations coming from Manila’s only five-star luxury resort hotel.
The hallway leading to the entrance of the Imperial Suites already seem to be transporting you to a new word of elegance and grandeur.
Opening the door reveals the most luxurious suite Sofitel Manila has to offer where some of the most famous international celebrities like Whitney Houston and others have stayed.
It was fit for royalty, celebrity and heads of state.
The Imperial Residence was designed by the world-renowned Spin Design Studio of Japan, with an investment of over one million US dollars. Says Sofitel Philippine Plaza general manager, Goran Aleks, “We are very proud to introduce The Imperial Residence to the market. It is the epitome of luxurious indulgence and fine living, and there is simply nothing like it. In the past, these spaces have served as home to some of the world’s most illustrious personalities and we continue to provide the very best products and services for our most discerning guests.”
The Imperial Suite boasts of elegant living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining room, luxurious bath facilities and the largest outdoor living area overlooking unrivaled views of the Manila Bay.

Just having a tour inside Sofitel Manila was already an experience, more so to actually stay there and experience even just a night of French luxury. I wonder when that will be. 🙂
