How To Go To Negeri Sembilan

October 22, 2012 – It was the inaugural flight of Zest Air, the 4th largest carrier of the Philippines, to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival at KL International Airport, we were greeted by the Malaysia Airport group with culturally-inspired costumes.
Deciding to take an overnight at KL, we set to go down south of Kulala Lumpur to Negeri Sembilan, one of Malaysia’s 13 states known for its rich culture and history.
Allow me to share with you on how we managed with our trip to Negeri Sembilan from Kulala Lumpur. More specifically, our destiantion is Seremban – Negeri Sembilan’s capital city.
From KLIA, you have the option to either take the bus or the train.

For the train option, you can take the KLIA Transit or KLIA Express to KL Sentral Station which serves as a major hub to KL’s transportation services.

Deciding to take an overnight in KL, we slept in a backpacker hotel. By morning, our backpacker hotel was nearest the Paser Seni station of the RapidKL LRT line.

Walkway to KTM Komuter - Elevated walkway to “Kuala Lumpur” Station
From the Paser Seni station, cross the bridge/walkway to “Kuala Lumpur” station of the “KTM Komuter” line. Form here, it is only one train ride until you reach Negeri Sembilan.

Seremban is the 12th station of the “KTM Komuter” line from KL Sentral Station which takes about 1.5 hours travel time.
2-Step on How To Go To Negeri Sembilan (Seremban)
1. From the Airport, take a train or bus to KL Sentral Station.
2. From KLSS, take the southbound “KTM Komuter” line in KL Sentral Station to Seremban (capital city of Negeri Sembilan). Wait at Platform3.

It’s that simple! The train from KLSS to Seremban in Negeri Sembilan cost only RM5.50. I hope it this was of help on how to go to Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia!
