Clark Philippines International Hot Air Balloon Festival All Set

In contrast to previous years where I leave Manila very early in the morning to catch the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark-Pampanga on the first day, I’m checking in at Metro Clark Hotel a day earlier (this afternoon).
Moreover, I will be with my ex-girlfriend and wife Marjorie. 😛

This year’s PIHAB starts tomorrow February 21, 2013 and will run until the weekend or February 24 at the Clark Freeport Zone as hosted by the Omni Aviation Complex.

If you have just decided to go to the 18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fest as you are reading this blog, then you really have to be there early since the tickets on sale are already sold out. Those still interested can only buy at the gates on the day itself.
The tickets used to sell at P250 (~US$8.5) through SM Ticketnet outlets. For ticket inquiries, you may try to call 833-3264 or 384-0085.

Other activities you should also watch out for include ballooning, Breitling Jet Team activities, aeromodelling, kite flying, aircraft precision competitions, paragliding, skydiving, ultralights, rescue demonstrations and fixed-wing aircraft competitions.
In between these activities, if you want to find some time to relax or cool off from the hot day, there’s always SM City Clark or SM City Pampanga.

Furthermore, this year, we’ll try riding a hot air balloon, something we’ve been trying every year but failed. I’ve a got a strong feeling it will come into completion this time. See you at the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta! 🙂
