My relatives in Lipa City, Batangas live near the Malarayat Golf Course and Country Club in Dagatan. Although the golf course was a stone’s throw away from our house, I never thought that one day I would be playing golf myself.

Short of playing the actual game, Lenovo Philippines took us on an 18-hour challenge to prove the battery life of their Yoga Tablet. Part of the challenge was a few driving range lessons at the Makati Golf Club Driving Range.

And so it was. Coach Willy briefed us with the basic swing in the more-or-less one-hour session at their facility.

Equipped with a golf glove on my left hand, I got the basic golf club (one used to hit the golf ball) and he taught us how to use our left and right arm to achieve the perfect swing. The Lenovo team watched and took our photos using the Lenovo Yoga Tablet in our behalf.

I initially got a grade of 75/100 from coach, the last among the three travel blogger participants. But I eventually got higher scores as we progressed. 🙂

My goodness! Golf swings are not as easy as they look like! Nonetheless, it was an awesome first time experience for me. I’d definitely go back given the chance.
