New Year, New Resolutions
Coming up with LetsGoSago.net’s New Year Resolution contest was actually an accident. Being a food & travel blog (food articles can now be found at NomNomClub.com), Starbucks Coffee Philippines invited Sago for a preview of their new holiday menu and the launch of the Starbucks Planner 2010 November of last year.
However, I am an online techie guy so I keep an online calendar instead – using Google Calendar. So I just thought of giving away the Starbucks Planner instead to my readers here. And since it’s the turn of the year, I thought a new year resolution contest would be appropriate. Thanks to Starbucks Philippines because they also decided to sponsor the planner I’m giving away (so I gave mine away through another raffle).
And so it was, I announced the Starbucks Planner winner last week. And now, I decided to add some more special awards due to the enormously successful turn out of the contest with about 600 comments in total.
Aside from that, the resolutions of some were heartwarming and personally revealing. I just hope that even if they did not win the planner, the exercise somehow affected their outlook in life positively.
I will be noting below some outstanding and heartwarming new year resolutions of the participants.

The most sincere new year resolution is from “ria” on her dedication and commitment of being a ‘better’ teacher which also marks her 10th year of teaching. She receives a Starbucks Coffee gift certificate.
I also decided to add 3 sets of authentic Starbucks Cap and lace prizes to the Top 3 commenters which made the MOST number of valid comments. The top winner had a perfect score of 25, meaning she posted everyday since day 1 upto Dec 31. 🙂 She is Jenn, and one of her comments is shown below.
Closely following Jenn are Vivian with 24 comments and Ellen Joy Castel with 23. Both of them are also getting the authentic Starbucks Coffee Caps and laces.

Yeah, kala ko kasama ako sa special winners. I really want that planner to give it to my “friend” 😛 Pero sana naman kahit SB ID lace and cap lang. HAHA! Joke. Pero natawa naman ako kasi kasama ako sa special mention sa mga FUNNY New Year resolutions. 😛
