Travel & Learn at Education UK
Travel and at the same time learn in United Kingdom (U.K.)!

Ok, traveling is more of the sideline and it’s actually about education. 🙂 Starting this month up to March, the British Council highlights its campaign Education UK: “Your Future on Track” which provides opportunities for us Filipinos wanting to pursue higher education in the UK.

In support of this, they will be having three key activities under Education UK namely: the Alumni Counseling Session, Funding Options Seminar, and the Education UK Exhibition. It will serve as a good venue for interested parties to explore their options and know more about the programs. From gathering information on UK schools to application and visa preparations for a UK degree.
“We believe that the United Kingdom has a lot of opportunities to offer in terms of education and overall personal growth. The location of the United Kingdom on Europe’s map offers students a unique opportunity to both travel and learn...” says Amanda Burrell, Country Director of British Council Philippines.

Alumni Counselling Session

The Alumni Counselling Session will be held at Makati Shangri-la, 6pm on January 29, 2010. It will showcase alumni from the top universities in the UK such as Oxford University and Cambridge University. A number of alumnus will talk about their experiences as students in the school and life in general in United Kingdom. This is a venue to get first hand information on how to apply, survive, live through and benefit from a UK education.
Funding Options Seminar
The Funding Options Seminar is happening on February 19, 2010 at Top Shelf, Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street. It will cover financial assistance and scholarships options for interested students.

Education UK Exhibition
Finally, the Education UK Exhibition is slated on March 5-6, 2010 at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel where representatives from UK universities will be able to speak directly to students about the schools they represent and specific courses available.
