Panagbenga Baguio Flower Festival Soon!

It’s that time of the year again in the month of February when Baguio City will be filled with flowers as the Panagbenga Baguio Flower Festival nears.
Baguio City’s Panagbenga Festival is mainly characterized by a parade of floral floats from all over the city. The floats are decorated with a variety of flowers arranged and designed creatively by the locals. This is also accompanied by a street dancing competition, concerts, trade fairs, and fireworks display at night.
This year’s 16th Baguio Flower Festival has the theme “The Environment and Community in Harmony.” With Baguio’s increasing population and pollution issues haunting the local government, this flower festival theme is most appropriate and timely. 🙂
