Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH 2011): Dream Destination
It’s that time of the year once again when Havaianas enthusiasts go frantic over the “Make Your Own Havaianas” event where they can mix and match limited edition Havaianas soles and pins. It happens May 12 – 16 at the Rockwell Tent 10am onwards.
As a customize-your-own flip-flops activity, Havaianas takes pride in presenting the Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) every year! This year, the theme is on travelling where travel-inspired limited edition soles, straps, and pins are available. The new designs pay homage to the fashion capitals of the world. It’s all about Havaianas being your best travel buddy in the world!
“I make sure that I am dressed appropriately for the weather. So before leaving for my destination of choice, I make sure I monitor the local temperature and pack my outfits accordingly… I also make sure that my clothes and footwear can be mixed and matched… We wore Havaianas most days during our trip to Brazil and not only were they very comfortable, they were also very fashionable and everyone on the streets of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro was happily wearing them,” says Havaianas “Happy Soles Will Travel to Brazil” contest winner Farrah Lapinid.
Presented by Powerplant Mall, Havaianaticos are invited to customize their flip-flops inspired by the world’s fashion capitals where they can personalize their very own Havaianas by mixing and matching the colors of their soles and straps and then embellishing them with fun and unique pins. You will be ready for any expensive or cheap beach holidays, anytime! MYOH uses a bigger venue this yea, as well.
