My Kani Mango CrePes & Cream
It is enjoyable to see how a food item you ordered is prepared.
So Sago and I didn’t pass up the chance to observe how the savory Kani Mango crepe we ordered from CrePes & Cream in the SM Megamall branch was prepped.
We were initially torn between the Taco Crepe and the Kani Mango savory crepe. But the kani ingredient sounds more expensive and worth the price of P135 ($3). 🙂
And so it was.
1. The process start by heating the circular flat griddle. The liquid batter made from wheat flour imported from Singapore is then poured over at the center of the hot plate.
2. The batter is then spread evenly in a circular manner using a type of spatula while cooking the crepe.
3. The ingredients are then added. The inset photo shows carrot bits, kani slices, mango cubes, some lettuce and topped with mayonaisse.
4. The crepe is folded in half, into a quarter, then rolled up.
5. The naked crepe is then covered with CrePes & Cream wrapper.
6. Now, your Kani Mango Crepe is ready to eat!
