20th Philippine Travel Mart Tomorrow!

The 20th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) to be held at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall starts tomorrow, Sept.4 and continues until Sept. 6 as organized by  the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA). Being one of the most anticipated travel and tourism trade show in the Philippines, this year’s Philippine Travel Mart carries the theme “Beyond the usual Philippines: Experience IT Here.” The expo showcases different travel and tourist destinations around the archipelago and the world. At the same time, travel and tour packages are offered by leading travel agencies at discounted prices. Airline tickets prices hit rock bottom while hotels and resorts offer attractive propositions.

In cooperation with the Department of Toursim, the 20th Philippine Travel Mart aims to promote top Philippine tourist destinations. Tourism industry players are expected to flock the exposition tomorrow moring as the trade show opens at 10am. Aside from individuals, programs are also available for small and medium businesses to big corporations. The Corporate Buyers Program offers options for trips, tours and adventures geared towards corporate outings or even as company incentives to its employees.

Sept 4 Update:

I went to the Philippine Travel Mart yesterday and realized that there was a P50 entrance fee. P40 for senior citizens and students. Perhaps this was to filter the really serious travelers. However, they might be missing on the prospective of impulsive travelers who are not yet really looking to travel anytime soon during the travelmart. Here are some more pictures of the exhibition:
