Book Run with Dingdong Dantes, Run With A Cause
In another running event with a cause, National Book Store in partnership with Dingdong Dantes and YesPinoy Foundation (YPF) hold “Book Run” which solicits books for schools affected by recent calamities.

The run on Jan 31, 5am, at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City, expects to gather some 2,000 runners for its 3K, 5K, and 10K runs.
This “is a complementary project to YPF’s Oplan Restore Paaralan, where we hope to help rebuild thousands of schools and help replace millions of books destroyed by recent typhoons,” says Dindong Dantes
Estimates from the Department of Education (DepED) placed damages to books to over P3 billion, representing close to three-million copies of books swept by floodwaters of typhoon “Ondoy” and “Pepeng”
Proceeds from the book run will benefit public schools in Cainta, Rizal; Laguna, Marikina and Muntinlupa. With an entry fee of only P400, interested parties may register by logging on at www.yespinoy.org or by personally signing up at the R.O.X store at Bonifacio High Street.
