Baguio-Benguet Hosts The North Face 100 Trail Run

Where else could a trail running event be best held in the Philippines but in its summer capital – Bagiuo.

Come April 24 & 25, The North Face 100 will pose another challenge of endurance to athletes and running enthusiasts in Baguio and Benguet.

Define your personal limits 6,000++ ft above sea level as TNF 100 hosts Asia’s 1st Trail Running Ultra Marathon series in Baguio–Benguet. The trail running will traverse unexplored trails of Camp John Hay, the PMA grounds, Mt.Sto.Tomas and Tuba to finish in renowned landmark Burnham Park.

Being a marked course with highest point at 2,062 masl, trail runners, mountain climbers, and running enthusiasts are encouraged to join. Although registration is closed for most locations, you may still register at The Travel Club in SM City Baguio until April 15, 2010.

Prepare for the 11K, 22k,50K or 100K solo races as The North Face 100 marks to be one of the longest and toughest test of your body and spirit. Race course directors are Neville Manaois and Levi Nayahangan, respectively.
