Finally, the results for the month-long ‘Be Cool This Summer‘ blog writing contest is out! The contest aimed to bring out the online writer’s creativity in telling their cool summer stories plus their own related photo.
We know from the contest mechanics post that we have 2 guest judges for this contest. However, one of the judges was not able to fulfill the necessary tasks. We had to offer the opportunity to another judge. One who is familiar to LetsGoSago.net already since he has served as a guest judge before in a previous contest. The mystery judges’ profiles are revealed below:
Ms. Kankan Ramos-Lim is currently the Marketing Head and Channels Manager at Yehey Corporation where she performs multiple duties for Digital Marketing Services and the Digital PR division of the company, while still handling the various other services and channels within Yehey.com.
Tonyo Cruz is a full-time blogger and journalist. He has worked as reporter for the national newspaper Malaya and for the Manila bureau of a newspaper in Japan. He has also contributed to Garage Magazine and the online media outlets Bulatlat.com and Pinoy Weekly. His blog, tonyocruz.com, won as “Best News and Media Blog” in the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards. He is also a part of the team behind the Bloggers Kapihan.
Without further adieu, the top three winners are:
Congratulations to grand winner Ria for her teaching-inspired article matched with a collaged photo.
Coming in second is LetsGoSago.net’s avid writing contest participant Rowena winning in this blog’s contests for the second time (not counting the Red Ribbon sponsored contest). Her article was about her recent trip to Japan with her family.
Capping the top three is Ryan from the Mirrors In Frames blog with an interesting read of a snowy summer. 🙂
