Early Holidays with Ayala’s Yuletide Ceremony & SM Christmas Tree Lighting

Just right after the recent three-day weekend, Ayala Land immediately opened up November with a holiday celebration and yuletide ceremonfay by lighting up the streets of Ayala Avenue, Paseo De Roxas, and Makati Avenue.

The holiday cheers immediately spread at the tick of 6pm last November 3, 2010 as Ayala Land Vice-President and Head of the Strategic Landbank Management Group, Meean Dy, pressed the button symbolizing this year’s start of Ayala Land’s Christmas tradition.

A Light and Sound Show featuring LED parols will play every night from November 17 to December 23 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens as part of ‘Christmas at the Gardens.’ These were designed by award-winning lighting designer for theatre Voltaire de Jesus, and veteran and multi-awarded sound designer Jethro Joaquin.

Other exciting activities to expect at the Ayala Triangle Gardens:
- Restaurant Launches of Golden Spoon, Chef Laudico’s Bfast, Banapple, Bon Chon Chicken, Amici, Caramia, CBD (Cheesesteaks, Burgers, and Drinks), Kanin Club, Momo Cafe, Omakase, Pho24, Wee Nam Kee
- Christmas Carolling Contest (performances of high school choral groups).
- Traditional Simbang Gabi masses (December 15-23 6pm)
*The Light and Sound shows is from Monday to Friday 6-8pm every half hour with Special weekend shows on December 18-19, 2010.

Last November 7, it was SM‘s turn to light their Christmas Trees and holiday decorations in all SM Malls at the same time.
Led by host Nikki Gil and holiday serenader Erick Santos, the Christmas Castle facade was unveiled at SM Megamall‘s Entertainment Center.

The Gosengfiao sisters Alodia and Ashley also graced the event. The SM mall Christmas jingle entitled “Christmas ChriSMs Bop” was also launched.
A million Christmas lights lit up at the same time in all SM malls nationwide. Other SM Malls had their Christmas-themed facades revealed as well. A big ‘Little Drummer Boy‘ was the highlight in SM North Edsa’s The Block.

47 days before Christmas, the holiday season is indeed here! Visit Ayala Triangle Gardens‘ ‘Christmas at the Gardens‘ and SM Malls‘ Christmas Trees and decorations! 🙂
