October 31, 2011 Declared as Special Non-Working Philippine Holiday

In a statement released by the Philippine government earlier today, October 31, 2011 has been declared as a Special Non-Working Philippine holiday.
In the same depth, November 1, 2011 is a special (non-working) Philippine holiday as traditionally observed as All Saints Day as per proclamation No. 84, dated December 20, 2010.
This is to give the people the opportunity to properly observe remembrance of their deceased loved ones. Check out this official word from Malacanang. 🙂
I guess a lot of people are glad that October 31, 2011 has been declared as a Special Non-Working Philippine holiday.
