Makati’s Symphony of Lights Video – Merry Christmas from Sago
Sago greets ‘Let’s Go Sago!’ readers and subscribers a Merry Christmas! Even if you are not yet finished with your Christmas wishlists, let me leave you this holiday season with a heart-warming video I shot from Makati’s Symphony of Lights.
The Makati Central Business District is one of the major business and financial hubs in the Philippines. And amidst the concrete jungle of buildings and pavement, lies a spacious garden at the center of it all along Ayala Avenue called Ayala Triangle Gardens.
In the spirit of Christmas, they established a holiday show at the courtyard of the Ayala Triangle Gardens which started last month. It is aptly named the Christmas Symphony of Lights.
It is a nightly light and sound show from November 20 to December 23. It was designed by renowned theatre lighting director Voltaire de Jesus and multi-awarded sound designer Jethro Joaquin. The shows come to life Mondays to Fridays every 30 minutes from 6-730 pm. You can still catch the last one later.
Here are the compiled video clips after I visited the place a few days ago.
Check out some details Am On The Streets and here.
Christmas inspired sculptures entitled ‘Rebirth‘ and ‘Christmas Breeze‘ also line the area created by artists Ovvian Castrillo Hill and Ral Arrogante, respectively.
If you missed the Symphony of Lights, you can still catch the sculptures at the Ayala Triangle Gardens until January 15, 2009. Sago will be back after Christmas. Happy Birthday Bro! Happy Holidays!
