I Want “That Chocolate Thing”!

I’ll not be beating around the bush about this thing…err…dessert. There’s no other way of telling you what it is. Ok, it’s “That Chocolate Thing”!

Yes, Bubba Gump itself wasn’t able to settle calling it any other way either, but they said we’ll love it.

I was with Joy, Shari, Janine, and Robby when it was first served to us in a transparent jar. The four were excited but the bottle jar reminded me of something else. =)

However, after dipping and getting a teaspoonful, everything was compensated for. =)

The warm chocolate cake at the bottom is topped with vanilla ice cream. Whipped cream takes the top spot with a touch of raspberry sauce for an added twist.

One tip though, ice cream lovers should not finish off the ice cream and leave the chocolate for later (like what happened to us). The contradiction of the cold ice cream and warm chocolate cake makes up the amazing experience.

Let the dessert spoon dive deep taking a bunch of the chocolate and some ice cream on your way back. Bring the catch to your palate, close your eyes, let it melt, and enjoy.
