Spott3d: Isdaan at Gerona Tarlac

Isdaan is a floating restaurant located and easily accessible from the main highway in Gerona, Tarlac. Travelers heading north would easily recognize it from the roadside as characterized by giant sculptures resembling features of Mayan origin.
The restaurant has become a landmark of the province after getting accolades from tourists and its visitors.
Aside from the great Kapampangan-inspired dishes, the place has also become a venue for entertainment with varied activiy options around the area including the famous Tacsiyapo Wall where one can release their well-kept anger and angst by throwing dishwares and appliances against a wall with expression marks like “Casino“, “Manyak“, and “Ex-wife“.

Isdaan is called a floating restaurant because its bahay kubo (nipa hut) units spread across the area are literally floating above a vast man-made pond where fresh fishes are caught.
