Surfer-Bloggers Donate P15K to WWF Philippines

Exactly one month ago, a group of bloggers immersed themselves in real-life surfing. It was the anniversary charity project of this travel blog which brought a bus of bloggers to San Juan in La Union.
Supported by the Department of Tourism, Bico Australia, and 48 surfer wannabees, the 2-day project was a success gathering up to P15K cash donations for World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Philippines.

The cash money was turned over to MayJ C. Tolentino, Individual Donors Program Manager of WWF-Philippines. She wished to thank all the bloggers who gave part of the event registration fee. She also gave personalized thank you letters and some WWF brochures and information sheet. (some of the letters are still with me since I haven’t met all of the bloggers again). 🙂

The project was also supported by SM, Starbucks, VSRC Skin Clinic and media partners Men’s Health & Women’s Health Magazines, Web.com.ph, Qtube, Yehey and Creativoices. Other sponsors were Havaianas, Travel Factor, and Geiser Maclang.
