Be Original this Summer With Havaianas

With the summer heat blazing across our tropical country, and scheduled travels and tours with family and friends, the ultimate summer flip-flops that is Havaianas is now almost a necessity.

And this summer, as early as last month, Havaianas launched a campaign for originality at the North Court of Power Plant mall in Rockwell. The crusade for originality came about as Havaianas prides itself in its brand which symbolizes quality and comfort in the footwear industry.

Havaianas partnered with youth oriented and non-profit organization – Rock Ed – which  encourages and supports alternative education.

During the event, Havaianas asked the invitees, “Are You Original?”

With every pledge made for originality in support of Rock Ed’s Original Grant, Havaianas donated 470 pesos. The amount represents the age of Havaianas, which was born 47 years ago in Brazil.

The Rock Ed’s Original Grant is a project designed to encourage socio-civic support from the youth. Deadline for proposals is extended to April 20, 2009.
