Renè Barbier Wine Appreciation Night
ADP industries, distributor of Renè Barbier wines, sponsored a wine appreciation night yesterday at the Trinoma Mall together with Fish and Co.
After a brief workshop on the sources, types, and differences of wines, we finally got to try them out. From proper cork opening to wine swirling, from smelling its fragrance to actual tasting.
We had the classic red wines Merlot + Tempranillo and Mediterranean. Others had champagne. But what tickled my fancy was the sparkling wine called Petillant Red (Rosado). Although it looks girly with its clear raspberry pink color, I like its fruity taste after having the old world red wines. And my tablemates and fellow bloggers Az and Nan thought so too. Cheers!
