Beat The Heat with Bizu Summer Sorbets

With this summer‘s scorching heat, Bizu comes up something cool – the Bizu’s Summer Sorbets. These are frozen desserts made from unique blends of pureed summer fruits.
They have five sorbets variants namely the Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Mango, Green Apple with mint, Lychee & Vanilla, and the interesting Lemon & Ginger.
The Raspberry sorbet is the red one which most of my friends consider to taste very similar to blueberry.
The Passion Fruit with mango sorbet is the yellow one which is mainly a puree of mango mixed with passion fruit. The black dots are the passion fruit seeds.

The Green Apple sorbet provides an obvious texture in comparison with the other sorbets plus a hint of mint.

The Lychee & Vanilla sorbet is the sweet one among the five. It’s also a good break from the serious flavors of the other four. It’s also Sago‘s favorite.
The most engaging among the five is the Lemon & Ginger sorbet. As the name suggests, it has the sourness of lemon tamed by a hint of ginger. Nonetheless, the lemon takes a dominant seat and leaves a unique and good aftertaste in the tongue. Among local Philippine beverage, the lemon & ginger sorbet can be associated to the local ‘salabat‘ which has the similarly ginger ingredient for herbal purposes.
All these flavors come as a set for only P285 ($6). Interestingly, you could customize the set of 5 by repeating some choice sorbets. For example, you could have 2 Lemon & Ginger, 2 Lychee, and a Passion fruit, perhaps. Just a tip, request for the sorbets to be served really chilled which tastes as its best.
